Cognitive Assessments
What Cognitive Assessments are available?
Mind Potential Psychology offers Cognitive Assessments for children, adolescents, and adults in a range of developmental areas, including cognitive testing for IQ/intelligence, learning difficulties, and/or cognitive functioning, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Austism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
What do Cognitive Assessments include?
All of our assessments start with an intake session (if the client is a child, this will be done with the parent/s). During this session your psychologist will explore your functioning, abilities, and developmental history. You may also be asked to complete some questionnaires. This allows your psychologist to gain as much insight as possible into your functioning and tailor the assessment to individual needs.
Following the intake session a time will be arranged for you to come in for your assessment session/s with the psychologist. The time required for this assessment session/s will vary depending on the assessment/s being completed. This may take between one and three hours and will involve a break in the middle.
After the assessment/s have been completed, a feedback session will be arranged. During this session, the psychologist will provide a copy of the written report and discuss the results and recommendations.
Cognitive Assessments are tailored to the individual needs of the client and therefore prices will vary depending on individual needs and the subsequent assessment/s chosen. Please call our reception team with your enquiry and we will help you navigate the assessment pathway appropriate for you or your child.
